A Quinte West resident faces numerous criminal and driving related offences after an overnight incident.  On August 14, 2024, members of Quinte West OPP were conducting speed enforcement on Dundas Street East in the City of Quinte West. Officers observed a vehicle traveling faster that the posted speed limit, which was confirmed by a speed-reading device. Police attempted to initiate a traffic stop, but the driver failed to stop.
