Cooling Centre open in Trenton this week

The City of Quinte West will open its designated cooling centre this week amid rising temperatures. The Duncan McDonald Memorial Arena at 8 Couch Cres. in Trenton is open daily this week from Monday to Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The City of Quinte West activates a cooling centre at the Duncan McDonald Memorial Arena in Trenton when there are two consecutive days of temperatures of 31 degrees or higher or humidex values of 35 degrees Celsius or higher. Splash pads are also open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. in both Trenton and Frankford....
