Quinte unions to celebrate Labour Day in Belleville Sunday

Working Together For A Better Deal. That's the theme of a campaign unions in Quinte are marking Labour Day on Sunday from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. at Parkdale Community Centre in Belleville. While the event includes children's games, a swing, the splash pad and a barbecue, this is a national campaign uniting workers against companies and politicians who fail to put people first. The campaign emphasizes that the power of working people is more important than ever, particular with the possibility of provincial and federal elections in the near future....
