Man dies after collision involving train in Grafton area

One man is dead after a collision early Monday morning between a vehicle and a train in the grafton area. Around 12:50 a.m., Northumberland OPP received a call from CN Police regarding a collision that had occurred on Station Road in Alnwick Haldimand. The sole occupant of the passenger vehicle, an adult male, was pronounced dead at the scene. The road and railway line at the location was closed for the investigation. OPP cleared around 6:00 a.m. and the railway continued to be closed until noon. No name has been released. CN Police and the OPP are both conducting investigations....
