Drone drop at Millhaven foiled by staff, OPP

The OPP East Region Community Street Crime Unit foiled an attempt to deliver contraband to a Kingston-area correctional facility this week. Street Crime Unit members, along with members of Lennox and Addington County OPP found a suspicious vehicle near Millhaven Institution in Loyalist Township on Wednesday night. Officials located and seized a package dropped from a drone within the institution grounds, containing various items, including a knife, razor blades, suspected cocaine, meth, tobacco and cannabis. A search of the vehicle located more drugs, as well as numerous SIM cards and digital scales. 32-year-old Marc-Andre Pilon of Thurso, Quebec was charged...
