Skilled Trades Career Tour to start in Cobourg Thursday

Some local students are getting the chance to explore more than 100 skilled trades on Thursday. The Level Up! Skilled Trades Career Fair kicks off at the Cobourg Community Centre from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., with an evening open house scheduled from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. The fair offers over 150 exhibitors in all and aims to help students in Grades 7 to 12 start their journey towards a career in the skilled trades. The event will also highlight safety in certain trades such as construction and manufacturing, information from employers and experiences involving interactive and hands-on activities....
