BPS investigating pellet gun incident Sunday on Bayshore Trail

One person was taken to hospital after an incident involving a pellet gun in Belleville over the long weekend. Belleville Police and Hastings-Quinte Paramedics were called to the Bayshore Trail just south of Dundas Street on Sunday after 3:30 p.m. after receiving reports of two males who were shot with a pellet gun. Officers learned that one male had been shot in the chest several times, with no injuries while a second male was taken to Kingston General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries after being shot in the neck, chest and several times in the left arm.
