Handgun threat incidents by youth in Amherstview

The Lennox and Addington County Detachment of the OPP are investigating an incident involving threats and a weapon in Amherstview. On Thursday, November 7, 2024, around 6:00 p.m., two male youths entered a grocery store on Manitou Crescent, displayed what appeared to be a handgun, and made threats. The youths fled outside where they again displayed the handgun, threatening an individual.
