Napanee collecting feedback regarding encampments

The issue of encampments is behind a consultation process east of Belleville. The Town of Greater Napanee has launched an Encampment Response Consultation page, where feedback is being collected regarding homelessness and encampments in the community and it will be used to establish a use of parks and recreational spaces that is more predictable and fair that keeps negative interactions with residents to a minimum. Residents can provide their feedback until October 4, and the responses will be reported back to Council at the end of next month.
