Weapon call to BPS results in charges against Arden man

Belleville Police were called to a report of someone who brandished a knife on Monday at around 6:00 p.m.   Officers arrived in the area of Bridge Street East and George Street and found a male with a large hunting knife.   It's believed the male was intimidating residents and stabbing objects and that he was on probation for assault and weapon charges.   An investigation resulted in a 26-year-old from Arden being charged with possession with a weapon for a dangerous purpose and failing to comply with a probation order and was held for a bai hearing....
