Belleville residents will see user rates go up in 2025

The cost to get use out of city facilities will grow a bit more in 2025. Following the rejection of motions to receive and garner further public feedback, Belleville Council decided to approve a user fee study and associated recommendations at its meeting on Monday. Director of Community Services Dean Hustwick suggested in a report that staff make amendments to the consolidated fees and charges by-law for council's consideration to implement the recommended user fee increases for 2025.
