The Picton Pirates gutted out a huge victory on the road, shading the high-powered Napanee Raiders 4-3 on Friday night in a PJHL Tod Division rivalry matchup. Down 3-2 going into the third period, the Pirates cashed in a shorthanded marker thanks to Gerrit Kempers, then took the lead for good on a Zack Brooks powerplay counter at the 6:44 juncture of the final frame to win going away.
