Bridge loan to be provided to Quinte West organization

Community Partners for Success will have an easier time of completing its important work with the approval of a bridge loan. Coun. Zack Card put a motion forward that was approved on Wednesday to have Quinte West Council provide the local organization with $116,500. $5,500 installments would be provided for three months from January to March 2025. Card stated the organization provides so much for residents in the community, including 7,000 meals annually, emergency food support through hampers and frozen meals, clothing, toiletries assistance, harm reduction and other health care.  They also help with addictions and mental health counselling services....
