Beyond the Headlines - transitions in 2024

As we celebrate a new year tomorrow, it's also time to reflect on the people we said goodbye to in 2024 and also those we welcomed into our Quinte family of newsmakers. We had some big losses this year, none of which perhaps larger than the death of former MP and MPP Daryl Kramp back in February. He was a giant on the local political scene, an influential figure in government, and someone I deeply respected and miss.
