Brighton man faces impaired charges after single-vehicle crash

A Brighton man is facing impaired charges after a single-vehicle crash on Friday night. Northumberland OPP stated shortly before 7 p.m., a vehicle had crashed and reportedly ended up on its roof in a field adjacent to Huff Road in Brighton. After a brief investigation and treatment from medical personnel on scene, officers took the 33-year-old male driver into custody. Tyler Morewood faces charges of impaired driving and being impaired with a blood alcohol level of over 80 milligrams. In addition to a future court date, Morewood will have his license suspended for 90 days and his vehicle impounded for seven days....
