Belleville council to discuss capital budget on Monday

Belleville council is ready to hear about its capital financial situation for next year on Monday. A meeting scheduled for 1 p.m. in council chambers will include a presentation from city financial staff on the 2025 draft budget and 10-year capital plan. Some of the larger items on the budget including the $5 million Phase 1 of the Northeast Industrial Park Expansion and the $5.5 million Sewer Separation Construction for Octavia and Henry Streets. The total draft budget as presented is $53.6 million. Also on the docket is a police budget presentation to be helmed by Police Chief Murray Rodd...
