BUSINESS – TteS building Starbucks, Petro-Can at Chief Louis Crossing

Tkemlúps te Secwépemc (TteS) announced today (Nov. 14, 2024) two new additions to Chief Louis Crossing at the intersection of Yellowhead Highway and East Shuswap Road:  a Petro-Canada gas bar and a Starbucks café with drive-thru services. The gas bar will open in December and the Starbucks in January. The Petro-Can, the second one owned by TteS, will provide full fuel services and a convenience store to meet the needs of both local customers and visitors. “The addition of this Petro-Canada station represents TteS’s dedication to expanding community centered enterprises that benefit both our members and the broader Kamloops region,” said Cal Bagshaw, manager at TteS Petro-Canada. Tye Coldwell, senior account manager of business development for Suncor, added, “We are honored to support TteS’s growing role in local economic development and to provide quality fuel and services to the Kamloops community.” The new Starbucks will have café space as well as convenience with both a drive-thru and Starbucks’ mobile order & pay.
