Hasty P’s mark 80 years since end of World War II

It's been eight decades of remembrance for the Hastings and Prince Edward Regimental Association. The organization, known as the “Hasty P’s,” held a ceremony at St. Thomas’ Anglican Church in Belleville to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War and the Regiment’s return home. The ceremony honoured approximately 3,500 soldiers who served with the Regiment between its landing in Sicily on July 10, 1943, and the end of the war in 1945.
