One person critically injured in Kingston crash

Members of the Kingston Police Traffic Unit are currently investigating a collision in the area of Bath Road at Palace Road on Wednesday morning. The collision occurred at approximately 11:00 a.m. As a result of the collision Bath Road between The Kingston Center and Palace Road was down to one lane in both directions. The collision involved a single Ford Transit van which struck a concrete pole causing the pole to fall over. An investigation into the cause of the collision is underway. The driver of the van, who was the only occupant was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries....
