UPDATE: Several more arrests have been laid in the Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory region Tuesday morning. The Tyendinaga Police Service stated officers executed a search warrant and arrested two people at a location on the Territory. Five suspects fled on foot, but were eventually apprehended and taken into custody with the help of OPP specialty units. All seven people in custody were found to be non-community members. This makes 17 arrests since the large-scale police operations started last month.
