County flags lowered for well-known local writer

The Prince Edward County flag will be lowered today in memory of a long-time County resident and well-known writer. Steve Campbell passed away last Tuesday at the age of 72. The County says Campbell was well-known for his love of Prince Edward County, which he showcased through his writing in his beloved County Magazine, regular newspaper contributions and many books and stories.  Campbell lived in Bloomfield, Cherry Valley & Picton through his life.
