Yield! Fall of Rome is an innovative strategy game from Billionworlds and Daedalic Entertainment. Described as a mix between Child of Polytopia and the Civilization series it brings a fresh approach to the genre by combining strategic decision-making with accessibility while remaining true to the core principles of 4X strategy games. This accessibility means the game is optimized to give you an overview on the go with the Steam Deck. For this reason, the game also focuses on faster gameplay so you don’t have to sit idly by while your city builds troops. In Yield! Fall of Rome you can play as one of eight legendary tribes such as the Britons, Huns, and Franks that opposed the all-mighty Roman Empire. While playing the game you command your tribe towards glory, the way you do so is entirely up to you, be a diplomat, a ransacking, or a tactical general. With its procedurally generated campaign maps, each game offers a new unique, bite-size campaign for you to dive into the action and fight back against the Romans without endless, hourlong detail-management.
