ShapeHero Factory launches in Early Access

ShapeHero Factory launched on Steam Early Access today, November 6th, bringing a fresh mix of tower defense and roguelite gameplay to PC. Developed by Asobism Co., Ltd., the game challenges players to save the world from a looming threat called The Great Calamity. Available for $18.99 with a 10% discount for the first two weeks, ShapeHero Factory offers strategic battles in a charming, animated storybook world. In ShapeHero Factory, players build a factory that transforms basic shapes—like squares, triangles, and circles—into a variety of tiny heroes with unique skills. As heroes can’t be directly controlled, strategic factory layouts and artifact upgrades are essential to guide them through waves of increasingly powerful enemies. Each run is enhanced by randomly generated artifacts that allow players to continuously evolve their strategy. Key features include a permanent upgrade system called Grand Knowledge, earned through combat to unlock abilities. Set on a storybook scroll within an old house, ShapeHero Factory’s quaint yet magical setting immerses players in a battle to prevent The Great Calamity from escaping the Grim Grimoire.
