A failing system that threatens as all?

Bhutan’s healthcare system is facing an escalating crisis. The country is already struggling with a severe shortage of doctors and nurses, and now, fewer general doctors are choosing to pursue postgraduate medical education. This decline in specialisation threatens to weaken our healthcare system even further, which could leave the nation ill-equipped to handle complex medical conditions. If urgent action is not taken, we may soon face a full-blown medical emergency that could have lasting consequences for the country.
