The 2024 African Women's Cup of Nations has been postponed to 2025 by the Confederation of African Football (CAF). The competition will now run from July 5 to July 26 2025. CAF fixed the date at its virtual executive committee meeting on Friday. Africa's football govering body took the decision following the congested calendar for the women's football this year. There is the qualifiers for the CAF Women’s Champions League and the main tournament later this year. Multiple champions Super Falcons of Nigeria, current holders Banyana Banyana of South Africa and Ghana are among the countries that have already qualified for the biennial competition.
