Happening Now: DICON at 60: Inaugural Africa Defence Industries Conference

The Inaugural Africa Defence Industries Conference alongside the 60th Anniversary Celebrations of the Defence Industries Corporation of Nigeria (DICON) is currently ongoing at the Shehu Musa Yar`Adua Centre, Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, with the theme: “DICON @60: Future Frontiers in Africa’s Defence Technology”.Present at the Conference were the Minister of State Defence, Chief of Defence Staff, Chief of Army, Naval and Air Force Staff's alongside with Commandant of Nigerian Customs,NSCDC, and other Commandants from the paramilitary agencies.The 2-day event from 14th-15th August 2024 is designed to be the largest gathering of defence industry stakeholders in Nigeria and Africa, attracting over 3,000 local and international participants, from over 30 countries.
