Yahaya Bello hosts parents of Gov Ododo

On Thursday, former Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, welcomed the parents of his successor, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, to his residence in Okene. The visit, which included Alhaji Ahmed Sani and Hajia Habibat Ahmed Sani, the parents of Governor Ododo, highlighted the strong bond between the two families and their ongoing dedication to the progress of Kogi State.During the meeting, Bello expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the couple for their continued prayers and unwavering support.He praised their significant role in shaping the upbringing and moral values of their children, particularly acknowledging how these attributes have contributed to making Governor Ododo a disciplined and compassionate leader.Bello lauded Alhaji and Hajia Sani for their exemplary parenting, pointing out that their teachings and values were clearly reflected in their son's character and leadership. He noted that his decision to name Ododo as his successor was not accidental but a well-considered choice. Bello emphasized that Ododo's compassion for the people and commitment to the state's development had marked him as the right leader to build upon the foundation he had laid.“Your son is a worthy successor.
