Ondo APC felicitates muslims, seeks support ahead of 2027

The in Ondo State has congratulated Muslim faithful on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast, describing the period as spiritually significant. In a statement issued on Thursday by the party’s Publicity Secretary, Hon. Muyide Kayode, the State Chairman, Hon. Kolawole Babatunde, lauded the Muslim community for their discipline, sacrifice and prayers for the nation. Babatunde noted that the commitment demonstrated by the Muslim Ummah during the fasting period remained invaluable, particularly in promoting peace and unity in the country. He also commended Muslims in the state for their continued support for the APC-led administration, urging them to sustain the momentum and mobilise support ahead of the 2027 presidential election. The party chairman further called for sustained prayers for the nation’s leaders, stressing the need for collective efforts towards ensuring peace, security and development. “Continuous prayers for peace, development of our land and security of Nigeria are very essential,” he said. He assured the Muslim community of inclusive governance and continued support from the government. The ruling party, however, wished Muslims in Ondo State and across the country a peaceful and fulfilling Eid-el-Fitr celebration.
