Xiaomi WinPlay Runs PC Games on Android Devices

Video games developed for Windows computers will soon be able to run on Android devices. Xiaomi today showed off the WinPlay application for the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro 12.4 tablet. In a video shared on social media, several video games such as Tomb Raider and Need for Speed ​​can be played on this tablet.Controller, keyboard and mouse support are also included to provide a similar experience to a PC. If an Xbox controller is used, it also comes with haptic feedback support. The WinPlay application is developed by Xiaomi itself using Xiaomi HyperCore technology on the HyperOS operating system.PC games can be accessed using Steam or GOG and played directly from the tablet. There is no further information on how this technology ensures that PC games can be run on Android devices. What is certain is that it is an amazing success because the Pad 6S Pro is only equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. Better performance can certainly be enjoyed on more recent chips such as the Snapdragon 8 Elite.Xiaomi is currently beta testing WinPlay on the Pad 6S Pro which uses the Hyper OS 2 Beta operating system.
