Medicines Via Post Service Now Supports Pos Malaysia Online Payment

The payment system through Pos Malaysia is now supported in the Medicines by Post (UMP) service in collaboration with the Malaysian Ministry of Health (KKM) and Kiplepay. With the introduction of this online payment system, it will improve and improve the convenience of the health system for Malaysians, especially for those who have limited ability to visit health facilities.The UMP service has been operating since 2011 to ensure that patients receive the prescribed medication directly at home as well as facilitate compliance with the prescribed medication intake. The recently introduced online payment feature, which is integrated throughPos Malaysia's payment gateway into KKM's MyUBAT application, allowing patients to make safe and easy payments from anywhere.It supports various payment methods, including credit and debit cards and online banking. According to Pos Malaysia for the period July-December 2023, they have sent more than 348,501 UMP prescription packages to patients showing its role thatimportant in supporting the health system initiatives of the Ministry of Health.
