As we reported earlier, Infinix has collaborated with BMW Group Designworks for the Note 40 Racing Edition series. This device has also been confirmed to enter the Malaysian market and today Infinix Malaysia has launched two devices under this series, the Infinix Note 40 Pro 5G and the Infinix Note 40 5G. This device targets young users who love high performance as well as those who are interested in racing events.BMW Group Designworks designed the rear panel, selected the construction materials and types of finishes used on the Note 40 Racing Edition series. There is no change in specifications as the Racing Edition is just the same device as launched before with a unique design. Features such as All-Round FastCharge 2.0, Cheetah X1 chip, 100W Multi-Speed FastCharge fast charging, as well as MagSafe-like charging that is MagCharge are also maintained. The Infinix MagKit ecosystem, including the MagCase protector, the MagPad wireless charger and the MagPower power bank also comes with a new design in line with the Racing Edition theme. The back design of the device uses a UV printing method with BMW's iconic tri-color elements and has additional wavy elements for extra grip. Infinix also provides car racing track themed wallpapers, themes and ringtones. The Infinix Note 40 5G Racing Edition uses a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by a Dimensity 7020 chip running XOS 14 based on Android 14. The battery is 5000mAh with 33W charging, a 108MP + 2MP + 2MP main camera and a 32MP selfie camera. The Infinix Note 40 Pro 5G Racing Edition, on the other hand, has more or less the same specifications for charging only, which is 45W. The Note 40 5G offers 12/512 GB of memory and storage while the Note 40 Pro 5G is limited to 8/256 GB.The selling price in Malaysia is RM1098 for Note 40 Pro 5G Racing Edition, while RM1299 for Note 40 5G Racing Edition.
