DJI Enters the Electric Bicycle Arena With Amflow PL

DJI is well known as a manufacturer of high quality drones, digital cameras, camera gimbals and even microphones. Now they are also entering the arena of electric mountain bikes (eMTB) with Amflow PL. Amflow will be the brand for their eMTB products. This bike is equipped with the Avinox system that offers a motor with 850W power and 105NM torque to help climb hills.Amflow PL is equipped with a choice of 800Wh or 600 Wh batteries that provide a travel distance of 157 and 117 km respectively. The battery can be recharged to 75% in 90 minutes using a 2A/508W GaN fast charger. The Avinox drive system can provide five levels of cycling assistance according to the rider's needs. Automatic mode for example will automatically provide assistance by looking at the cycle.The whole bike weighs only 19.2kg because the frame is made of carbon fiber material. There is a suspension system from FOX and brakes from Magura. with the supported tire size being 27.5″ and 29″. A 2″ OLED touch screen sits on the frame with it displaying battery information, time and bike speed.The screen can be controlled by touch or using the two bluetooth controls built into the handle. The built-in GPS system will warn if the bike moves without permission and its location can be tracked through a smartphone application. There is also a USB port that can be used to charge smartphones.Amflow PL will be sold starting Q4 2024 with a price between €7,000 (~RM 35,580) and €12,000 (~RM 61,000) depending on the model and battery capacity used.
