The first place winner stands a chance to win a cash prize of RM28,000 if they win the competition. While the runner-up also brought RM24,000. The contestant who wins third place will take home RM19,000. Then fourth and fifth place won money worth RM6,000 and RM3,000 respectively. This competition is open for registration to all students aged 13 - 15 years old, i.e. form one up to now from any public, private or international school from now until September 16, 2024. The description must be written in writing with a maximum of 800 words. All of them were also asked to describe the problems they wanted to solve and were supported with innovative solutions based on STEM education. The evaluation will be made by a jury panel appointed consisting of representatives of Samsung Malaysia and Universiti Malaya based on various criteria such as relevance of the issue, creativity, feasibility and STEM application. For more details visit the official Samsung Solve For Tomorrow 2024 annual website.
