Arm is a semiconductor chip technology developer that is seen powering almost all smart devices in the world, and has begun to dominate the world of laptops. Now there are reports that they are developing GPU components to compete with companies such as AMD, Intel and NVIDIA.They are already present with Mali and Immortalis graphics processing chips which are mostly seen to power the graphics part for smart devices, but now that they have entered the arena of powering devices such as laptops and server machines, it seems that it is time for them to expand their wings to power the graphics part specifically for gaming purposes. It is reported that Arm has around 100 researchers based in Israel to develop this graphics processing chip component, and it is likely that it will be developed separately compared to their other processing chips. This means that soon, we may see graphics cards for Arm-powered laptops, and even laptops that are 100 percent powered by Arm processing chips. As of now, it is still unknown when Arm is expected to introduce their own GPU components.
