Windows 10 And Windows 11 Now Have Features Like AirDrop Via Phone Link

After Google introduced Quick Share (an early version of Nearby Share) on Android devices as Apple's answer to AirDrop on the iPhone, I began to wonder what about Android and Windows phones? Finally it became a reality through Phone Link.If you have an Android 9.0 device and above and use Phone Link, any file in a Windows 10 (with May 2019 update and above) or Windows 11 device can be directly sent easily. I just select the file, hit share and it's saved in the Send from my PC folder. Sending a 10GB file is no problem, it just depends on the speed of the Internet connection.Same on Android devices, select a file and share it to Phone Link to send it to your PC. One problem I am facing is, both Android and Windows devices do not display file transfer status. Small files are no problem but large files are a bit hard to tell if they are done or not. If you are interested, make sure the Link to Windows application on Android is version 1.24032.518.0 and Phone Link version 1.24032.156.0 on Windows devices.
