Snapchat Will Put More In-App Ads Soon

Snapchat recently reported their plan to place sponsored ads into user messages that will also be introduced under the name 'Snapsored Snaps'. This means that soon users will see ads that will be displayed together in messages from friends in the chat section of the app.This action clearly shows Snapchat's strategy to increase its current source of income. Despite that, the detailed and specific ad format has not yet been revealed. Snapchat's current financial situation may be one of the main drivers of this decision. This follows the company's share price which is reported to be declining.Although Snapchat has more than 850 million monthly active users, revenue from advertising is still far behind compared to their competitors Facebook and Instagram.In our opinion, in addition to efforts to increase income generation, they should also not take lightly the issue of balance between generating income and maintaining the platform as a user-friendly platform and should always prioritize the best user experience for all users.
