Runway Announces Collaboration With Lionsgate – Will Use AI In Film Production

Runway, one of the companies focused on artificial intelligence-based video generation, today announced a collaboration with the popular production studio, Lionsgate. Through it, both parties will cooperate in using artificial intelligence or AI in film production.Runway and Lionsgate will focus on training and creating specialized AI models, trained using the Lionsgate catalog. It is further expected to be used in helping Lionsgate Studio produce various videos, in addition to allowing the production of good content at a more efficient cost.Lionsgate also shared that some film producers under them are looking forward to using it and seeing its potential in the pre-production and post-production process.In line with this announcement, Runway also said they are also considering methods of licensing or offering tailored models based on specific content for companies, or other parties.
