Floating Boards Modified Into Anti-Tank Drones By Russia

Technological constraints forced Russia to find ways to continue military operations in Ukraine. The use of a third company to illegally import chips has already been detected with it causing a Malaysian company to now be included in the entity list. But technological barriers will create creative solutions. Last weekend a video surfaced of two hoverboards being modified into anti-tank drones.Two floating boards are connected to an anti-tank mine that is likely to be of the TM-46 type. Each of these mines is equipped with a TNT explosive weighing 5.7 kilograms. This is powerful enough to destroy armored cars and damage main tanks (MBTs). It is not yet known whether drones made of floating boards have been used in the Ukrainian battlefield.It was previously reported how the FPV headset for drones was modified to control a T-72 tank modified into a drone. The use of commercial drones on the battlefield is the reason why DJI stopped selling their products in Russia, and Ukraine to prevent them from being turned into weapons. The Ukrainian military then produced homemade drones using 3D printing machines to meet the needs of front-line missions.
