Shopee Increases Transaction Fee Payments To Sellers Effective August 1, 2024
Shopee is now informing sellers, stating that effective August 1, 2024, transaction fee payments on the Shopee platform will be increased to 3.5% without SST, or 3.78% with SST.Today, the transaction fee charged by Shopee to sellers is 2.0% (or 2.12% with SST) of the final payment made by the buyer. Usually, Shopee will make a deduction in payment to the seller after a purchase is completed. This rate will go through changes effective August 1, 2024, to 3.78%.Through the help page, Shopee states that all sellers on Shopee and Shopee Mall are charged with a transaction fee, in an effort to cover the payment platform fee for all transactions on the platform.For sellers on Shopee, you can check the transaction fees charged for each successful sale through the Shopee Seller Center > My Income > My Tax Invoices page.
