Fahmi Fadzil : Meta is the most compliant with Malaysian law while X is the worst

X/Twitter is at the lowest level of compliance with only 25%.It was also stated that among the laws and acts that were violated include the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (709), the Anti-Money Laundering Act (AMLA), the Prevention of Terrorism Financing and Proceeds from Illegal Activities 2001 (AMLATFPUAA 2001) and the Communications and Multimedia Act (Act 588).However, Fahmi said, each platform actually still has the issue of online crime and content that endangers people's safety. For example, the scam problem on Facebook alone reached hundreds of millions in losses. Although the compliance rate is high, overall the number of scams that occur on Facebook is too much. It was also informed that issues involving cyberbullying and pornography were detected in the X application.Following on from that, MCMC has also issued letters to each platform and provided feedback on a number of issues raised.
