The Snapdragon Dev Kit is the First Compact Computer Powered by the Snapdragon X Elite Chip
Laptop computers powered by Qualcomm's latest ARM processing chip, Snapdragon X, have already been introduced in the local and international markets. But until now, it was only shown on average on laptop platforms.Recently, Qualcomm has shown their own device developer kit called Snapdragon Dev Kit. It is a developer kit produced by Qualcomm itself to allow device makers to test various aspects of their Qualcomm Snapdragon X chips, and it comes in a desktop computer design.As expected, this kit runs the Microsoft Windows 11 operating system, and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite processing chip with 12 cores, along with 32GB of LPDDR5X memory and 512GB of PCIe 4.0 SSD storage.This developer kit is built specifically for those who want to build software for the ARM version of the Windows 11 operating system and comes with support for WiFi7, Bluetooth 5.4 and comes with the option of three USB Type-C plugs, two USB Type-A plugs, an RJ-45 LAN plug and HDMI plug all in a 199mm x 175mm x 35mm sized frame.This developer kit is seen coming in at a price of $899, but is currently only offered in select markets.
