Android Auto Now Uses Entire Car Screen

Android Auto will receive a feature that finally allows the entire infotainment screen of the vehicle to be fully used. This full-screen feature is given because cars on the market are equipped with screens of various sizes and shapes.The Mini Cooper, for example, has a round infotainment screen while Mercedes has a trapezoidal screen. This new feature is designed specifically for vehicles that fully support Android Auto.In addition to the full screen, the Android Auto update finally allows YouTube videos to be watched in full screen, with FHD resolution and a 60FPS frame rate. When the vehicle is moving, the video will automatically switch to audio mode automatically and will no longer stop as before.For fans of Dolby Atmos spatial audio, both of these audios are now supported on vehicles manufactured by BMW, Genesis, Mahindra, Mercedes-Benz, Renault, Škoda, Tata and Volvo. The Spotify and YouTube Music applications also receive Android Auto-specific interfaces to make them easier to use in cars.Widget support has been improved with widgets that can be placed anywhere for quick access on the Android Auto screen. More and more cars have also started to receive Gemini support instead of Google Assistant in the past few weeks.To date, more than 250 million vehicles support Android Auto. Meanwhile, more than 100 models from 16 manufacturers now use Android Auto as a built-in vehicle system.
