Spotify Is Developing a New Feature ‘Page Match’

Spotify is developing a feature called ‘Page Match’. This feature aims to make it easier for users to switch or match reading between physical books and audiobooks in a more seamless way.Users just need to take a picture of the page of the physical book then Spotify will take them directly to the same part in the audiobook. Interestingly, this function works in both directions where it not only allows users to switch from physical books to audiobooks but also shows the physical page that corresponds to the current position in the audiobook.Although this feature has been found in the specific code of the Spotify application, it is not yet fully functional because it is still in the development phase. Page Match can also only be used if the user has the audiobook feature in the Spotify application and is limited to a few markets that offer the service.
