The LNP reduce the “sticker shock” by amortizing the cost of their nukes over 50 years, but we only see reported half the costs, those up to 2051/52. That’s the $331 Bn. Which itself is a absurdly undercooked number for a whole variety of reasons, some of which have been covered in these articles.
