A little over a year ago, we introduced you to South Australia’s best kept secret – prog-core act DIS//CORD. The lads from the picturesque town of Mount Gambier are back with their new single ‘Another Victim To The Ocean’. While it has on the surface been a quiet year for the band since their previous single release, one thing for sure is this band takes their time for a reason. Putting a massive effort into developing their style since forming in 2019, they have reached into their arsenal to truly curate a unique sound. ‘Another Victim To The Ocean’ is proof of this. Tinged with that distinct Australian metalcore flavour, they have used symphonic elements to give it a unique twist. With harmonious clean vocal sections that bring the track up to anthemic, DIS//CORD are carving out their own path. Words by Kayla Hamilton @kaylazomboid Stream ‘Another Victim To The Ocean’ below
