One Ok Rock Lean Back Into Their Roots In New Single ‘Delusional:All’
It’s always a good day when J-Rock icons One Ok Rock drop new music and their new single ‘Delusional: All’ does not disappoint. In their first release since last year’s ‘Make It Out Alive’, the song is the official theme song for the upcoming Japanese film Kingdom 4: Return of the General. While the band’s frontman Taka Moriuchi has been active on social media, the Japanese icons have been a little quiet with their activities outside of their home country. That is sure to change though with the announcement of their Premonition World Tour (which sadly does not see them coming down under at this stage) and this new single drop. The single takes a lean back into the band’s heavier roots. In recent years, the band has taken a softer, more pop-rock approach where ‘Delusional: All’ takes on a more moody feel. With a sing-song chorus that is layered with a level of angst, the track gives a sense of melancholy. Still teetering on that pop-rock vibe though, it is easy to see how One Ok Rock‘s songwriting ability has made them such a draw for almost two decades.
