BCNR33 vs BNR34 front end

OK so I want/need to fit OEM hood latch and latch support on my car as it's missing. BCNR33 parts are a good bit harder to find for some reason, as many are discontinued and crappy used parts are expensive. If I understand right the front chassis of BCNR33 and BNR34 are pretty much identical, but I do know that non-GTR and GTR parts are not always interchangeable. I also know the BCNR33 front end is slightly longer than the ECR33. My question: does the latch support and latch of the BNR34 fit a BCNR33? From pictures alone it is hard to say for sure but they look near identical, with minor "modernization changes" I suppose. They seem functionally the same to me. I also wonder if I can use a hood release cable from another car, like the one from an R32 maybe. Only issue is that the handle design and mounting of the R32 and early R33 are identical but the cable length likely is not. The handle design and mounting of the R34 cable is different but the length is likely the correct one. Wtf am I supposed to do here? Buy 150USD used cable and do expensive shipping plus government share?
