The father-of-two died after he was restrained by around six police officers in Kirkcaldy, Fife, on May 3, 2015.

Emergency services were called to Carberry Place in Kirkcaldy at around 1.20pm.

The cause of death was not immediately clear. Four other people have died this year in city jails or just after being released from custody.

The girl was also handcuffed after being misidentified by police officers.
