After 15 years in power, Bangladesh's prime minister suddenly resigned and fled the country. Sheikh Hasina's departure, which came after weeks of student-led protests that were met with deadly force, was greeted with jubilation on the streets of the capital, Dhaka. Over the past month, footage on the ground has shown protesters being beaten and killed, as well as thousands of people storming the prime minister's residence.
