SAN FRANCISCO — The San Francisco city attorney is suing the operators of certain popular websites accused of creating fake, nude images of women and girls without their consent using artificial intelligence. The city attorney says the defendants are violating the California Business and Professions Code and is asking the San Francisco Superior Court to order the operators to shut down their websites that “nudify” pictures and to pay $2,500 for each violation of the code.
